Bijrani and Malani Forest Rest Houses are located inside the popular Bijrani Zone of Jim Corbett National Park, offering an authentic wilderness stay experience deep inside the jungle.

• Bijrani Forest Rest House: Features 6 well-maintained rooms (4 double-bed rooms and 2 single-bed rooms) along with dormitory facilities. All rooms come with attached private bathrooms. A basic restaurant/canteen is operational for meals. This zone is famous for wildlife sightings including Royal Bengal Tigers, Asian elephants, and sloth bears. Located 9 km from the entry gate.

• Malani Forest Rest House: Features 2 double-bed rooms, making it ideal for birdwatchers and nature lovers seeking absolute silence and seclusion. Electricity is limited, with lights and fans operating on solar power for limited hours at night. Hot water is provided. Located 18 km deep inside the forest from the entry gate.

• Entry Gate: Amdanda Gate (Bijrani Gate).

• Dining Facilities: A canteen is operational at Bijrani FRH. Guests staying at Malani FRH must carry their own dry rations/food items, as canteen facilities are not available there.

Arrive in Ramnagar and report at the Amdanda (Bijrani) Entry Gate as per scheduled forest department timings. After completing forest permit and guest identity verification formalities, enter the core Bijrani Zone inside your authorized forest gypsy. In the afternoon, embark on an exciting evening Jeep Safari across dense sal groves, grasslands, and seasonal riverbeds, tracking deer herds, wild boars, Asian elephants, and bird species. After the safari, head to Bijrani Forest Rest House (FRH) for check-in. Dinner can be enjoyed at the in-house canteen (payable directly). Experience the quiet jungle night and stay overnight inside Jim Corbett National Park.

Wake up early for your morning Jeep Safari in the Bijrani Zone—the most active time for wildlife movements and tiger tracking. Traverse core tracks as the sun rises over the forest canopy. After concluding the drive, return to the rest house. Enjoy breakfast at the canteen (payable directly), complete check-out formalities, and exit the park via Amdanda Gate as per forest department rules, concluding your 1 Night / 2 Days Bijrani jungle stay.

Important Guidelines & Policies

• Age Rules: Children over 5 years old are treated as adults (for foreign and Indian nationals). A child under 5 years is complimentary without an extra bed.

• Timings: Check-in time is 12:00 PM, Check-out time is 11:00 AM.

• Gate Entry Deadline: Forest gate entry is strictly closed after 3:30 PM.

• Cancellation Policy: Forest Rest House permits and safari bookings are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable.

• What to Carry: Valid government-issued photo ID (original), mobile phone, power bank, personal medications, comfortable earthy clothing, and personal travel kit.
