Phanto (Phato) Safari Zone is known for its dense forests, scenic landscapes, and peaceful surroundings, making it quite different from other Corbett zones. It was inaugurated on 30 December 2021, and the safari gate became operational on 2 January 2022. Phato offers a rich wildlife experience and is home to tigers, elephants, deer, wild boar, and diverse birdlife. The zone also features Jim Corbett’s first tree house, adding a unique attraction that allows visitors to enjoy the calm jungle atmosphere, natural beauty, and sounds of wildlife during the safari.
