Phato Zone is a new zone that was inaugurated by our Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, on December 30, 2021, and the Safari Gate became operational on January 2, 2022. The Phato zone is very beautiful, and it is one of the densest forest areas. The landscape of the Phato region is picturesque. It is quite different from the other regions of Corbett. Also, it is home to a good number of tigers, elephants, deer, etc. It has a tree house as well, the first in Jim Corbett National Park. Visitors enjoyed being in the jungle, listening to the sounds of the birds and animals, and spotting some deer and wild boars.
